In 2023, three dedicated enthusiasts set out on a mission to create a line of knives that would redefine quality and performance for the military and hunting communities. The knife market already being extremely saturated—what new could we bring that was truly different? After all, the basic function of a knife hasn’t changed in millions of years—so how could we push the boundaries?
It’s in those microscopic margins where GG knives find their edge. By taking those extra incremental, challenging steps that make a knife not just good, but exceptional. Our knives start with premium Swedish steel sourced from Bofors, a name synonymous with strength and reliability since 1646.
Through a painstaking drop-forging process, we manipulate the steel at a molecular level to achieve optimal density, toughness, and resilience. While many makers cut their blanks from steel sheets and rely on tempering alone, we invest in drop-forging to transform each blade into a finely tuned tool suited for the most demanding tasks. The result? Smaller batches, greater precision, and ultimately, a better knife.

“Final Cut” is our first signature knife in collaboration with Jesper Berlin. The name comes from Berlin’s background as an EOD/IEDD tech and refers to “the last decisive action taken to neutralize an explosive device”.
